Zhiwei and Shufen, a Taiwanese couple in their late forties, lost their child. Their daily lives seem empty, stained with sadness. They cannot talk to each other about their wounds or even comfort each other. One night, suffering from painful emotions, Zhiwei meets her ex-girlfriend Amanda who now became a writer. He visits her residence during her visit to Taiwan. There, old feelings come back to him, as he drinks ginger tea that she used to enjoy preparing. is a mid-length musical film directed by Jean-Robert Thomann, who worked on several documentaries on Taiwan's politics and culture. The film does not place moral standards on them. But it calmly shows Zhiwei gaining strength to live again from the memories that made his heart pound and others who comfort him.
