Joonkyung is a nursing assistant in charge of the night shift. He takes care of old Taesik who is unable to move in bed. When Joonkyung writes his work journal, Taesik groans little and murmurs about something. It seems like an ordinary night shift in a nursing home. However, as the night goes on, unknown air hits Joonkyung and Taesik. The Dictionary meaning of the film’ title, , is the act of waiting and serving beside a sick person or injured person. Therefore, the title seems to simply imply the ostensible subject of the film. However, at the end of the film, an immense twist gives a thrill with the irony and grotesqueness of the situation with the title. Not bedridden Taesik, but someone else who desperately needed care. It is only in the end that we become aware of beings who have not been cared for or comforted.
