After leaving home to study 20 years ago, filmmaker Ahmet Necdet Cupur returns to his family’s town in southeastern Turkey after hearing news about his siblings. His brother Mahmut tells his family that he wants to divorce his wife while his younger sister Zeynep enrolls in a high school online course. Contrary to her conservative father's wishes, Zeynep's dream is to go to college. The family finds the wishes of Mahmut and Zeynep odd, and what the siblings try to achieve becomes a source of conflict in their family and community. Ahmet Necdet Cupur takes a look into his family history with his camera in order to make this documentary about a new generation in Turkey that challenges the older generation and their worldview. His intimacy with the characters in the film made it possible to create an incomparable rapport and natural interaction between the camera holder and the person standing before him.

Ahmet Necdet Cupur obtained a civil engineering diploma and worked in Iraq and Afghanistan during the war. In one of his journeys, he shot a short film in Romania and decided to be a filmmaker. He obtained funds from CNC for his short film, . The year he completed his film, he returned back to his natal village, after twenty years of absence, with an idea of shooting a documentary about his family.
